Our shooting style is candid reportage. This is a photographic style typified by Sunday supplements and glossy magazines your pictures look natural, fresh and contemporary, often with artistic use of perspective and a touch of humour here and there.
Why reportage?
As well as stunning shots, one of the big benefits of the reportage style is just how unobtrusive it is. Because we use long lenses, many people don’t even realise they are being photographed. This means everyone enjoys the day, you get striking natural shots, and no-one feels self conscious or directed.
Traditional group shots
Though traditional wedding photography is no longer in fashion, we do recommend that you consider having some group shots of friends and family. Older relatives always appreciate a print or two with a thank you letter, and these shots always provide a talking point after the big day. However, we do try and shoot traditional shots as quickly as possible – participants are often already thinking about what they are going to drink with lunch!
